    Craig Thomson, Trainee Administrator

    Craig is part of our Service Model Project team, this means that with the help and guidance of Janet, he provides Boston with the best support for all the on-going IT projects.

    Within his role he liaises with our infrastructure providers to monitor our systems, he looks to upgrade our current systems with enhancements and add-on features and looks to get the best out of our systems with a good user interface. Craig enjoys what he does and is looking to maximise his talents in this field to allow Boston to stand out as having the best infrastructure and systems around.

    Craig is keen to make good and lasting relationships within the information technology circles and is always looking for the next innovative idea to make Boston’s systems more efficient and user friendly

    Craig is a keen rugby player and enjoys assisting the local charity Crossroads Caring for Carers when he can.

    Janet Bradley, Assistant Manager

    As an Assistant Manager, Janet provides vital back office support to the administration teams with a focus on project work.

    For the last fifteen years, Janet has been involved in life insurance and investments and, later, trust and company administration. In 2005 she was approached by a South African family to project manage the establishment of a new Isle of Man Trust Company for the purposes of taking on a book of insurance based trusts; and was awarded the post of Chief Executive of Operations. Once this was established she wished to gain a wider corporate exposure, which lead her to join Boston Limited in March of 2009. Originally Janet was assigned a portfolio of clients to administer, but has since progressed to Manager level.

    She is Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) qualified with predominantly South African based client connections.

    Outside of work Janet is a fully qualified and passionate Yoga Instructor. She enjoys teaching regular classes at community halls and at a local Yoga and Pilates Studio.

    Rachel Turner, Office Assistant/Secretarial Support

    Rachel joined Boston Group in 2008, in the period of expansion that followed their acquisition of Lawfords Limited. Rachel works part-time as a team leader to the filing/scanning/reception departments, and has built up a team that offers good service to both clients and colleagues.

    Rachel has twenty-six years of office experience, working at every level from office junior to team leader and will turn her hand to most tasks. She has previously worked at Warburg Asset Management and Barclays Private Bank and Trust.

    Rachel enjoys taking on projects and streamlining processes to make them more efficient and cost effective for the business. She enjoys working for Boston because she considers her work colleagues as an extended family - all working as a team to deliver the best results for clients.

    Rachel enjoys walking, fundraising for Hospice, participating in the Isle of Man Pony Club and supporting her children in the sports they undertake.

    Nicola Hughes, Office Assistant

    Nicola joined Boston Group in October 2008 and provides back office support to the other Boston administrators. She takes care of day to day tasks as varied as filing, collating information for colleagues and reception duties.

    Nicola previously worked as a Catering Manager for Marks and Spencer, where she was a finalist in the 2008 "Chef of the Year" awards. She has been awarded the Advanced Health and Hygiene Certificate. She is also a trained Homeopath, having completed a Diploma in this field. She is currently studying towards a Company and Trust Foundation Course.

    Outside of the office Nicola is married and enjoys correcting the manuscripts of her husband, who is a writer. She also enjoys baking.

    Fiona Trustrum, Office Assistant

    Fiona joined Boston Group in August 2008 and provides back office support on a part-time basis to our Administrators.

    She previously worked for Equity Ltd administering a portfolio of High Net Worth clients.

    Outside of the office Fiona is married with two young children. She enjoys mountain biking and walking in the hills near her home in Port Erin.

    Jacqui Heyes, Receptionist

    Jacqui joined Boston Group in January 2011 as Receptionist. Running a very busy reception she is the first point of contact for callers and visitors to Boston Group.

    Jacqui has many years’ experience in the finance sector working in various reception roles in similar CSP Companies and has several years’ experience in banking. She is also a fully Qualified Nursery Nurse (a profession she took up when she left school).

    With her experience in similar job roles, Jacqui has a good understanding of the needs of both clients and staff, which is important in providing a good service. She always maintains a pleasant and professional manner in her role.

    Outside work Jacqui is married and has two sons. In her own time she enjoys swimming, gardening and travelling.
