James has been the Head of the Compliance Department at Boston for the last five years, as well as acting as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer and Data Controller for the Group.
James has acquired extensive experience of all aspects of the on- and off-shore financial services industry as a result of employment on the Island, as well as in the UK and the Cayman Islands. James has also undertaken a number of international compliance visits.
James is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, a Fellow of the Compliance Institute and a Director of the Alliance of Isle of Man Compliance Professionals.
James is an active member of the Island’s sports community, with a particular focus on hockey – including a post as Chairman of the Manx Hockey Association. He is currently focusing on development opportunities for youth hockey on the island.

As Group Company Secretary, Tracey is responsible for the corporate governance of the Boston Group and all associated companies. She also fulfills the role of Senior Manager, providing technical trust and corporate support and advice to the administration teams, and heads up the Client Company Statutory team.
Tracey began her career in accountancy, before moving into private banking and wealth management with Coutts (Isle of Man) Limited – where she remained for eighteen years. Whilst with Coutts she worked primarily in the provision of specialist trust and corporate services to high net worth individuals and families, and was appointed as the Trust Quality and Risk Control Manager.
Tracey is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), holding the Society’s Diploma in International Trust Management and has completed the Advanced Certificate in Trust Disputes. She currently sits on the board as a Director of STEP (Isle of Man) Limited.
Since moving to the Island in 1976, Tracey has married and has a teenage daughter.

David Boyles, Assistant Compliance Officer
David has been a member of the Boston Compliance department for three years. A primary function of his role is to support the Group Compliance Manager, although he is also responsible for the overall smooth running of the office premises.
Since his move to the Isle of Man in 1999, David has acquired a wide range of experience through his work in the financial and non-financial service industries.
David is currently undertaking a course on Compliance and Financial Crime with the International Compliance Association.
When away from the office, David enjoys the country lifestyle. He lives in the pretty Manx village of Cregneash with his family and their dog.

Martin Allan, Group Financial Controller
In his capacity as Group Financial Controller, Martin is responsible for preparing the Group management and statutory accounts, compiling internal financial control policies, and assisting with the management of Group IT systems. He also assists with all aspects of human resources relating to the Boston Group.
Before coming to Boston in November 2010, Martin had been employed in a variety of management accountant roles in the life assurance sector on the Isle of Man.
Martin is a graduate of Lancaster University and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
Martin lives on the Isle of Man and is married with a wife and three young children. -
Rosemary Fappiano, Statutory Company Administrator
Since joining Boston Limited in 2008 as a Support Administrator, Rosie has transferred her impressive organisational skills to the ClientCorporate Statutory Department. She is a valued member of the closely knit team that manages all corporate statutory administration across several worldwide jurisdictions.
Rosemary started her working life as PA to the partners of a local firm of Chartered Accountants and over the next 16 years gained experience in all aspects of company administration.
An in-depth knowledge of individual jurisdictional corporate statutory requirements is fundamental to her role and this, combined with Rosie’s highly organised approach and attention to detail ensure that client corporate requirements are dealt with speedily and efficiently.

Shauna Kennaugh, Statutory Company Administrator
Shauna joined the Statutory team in April 2011; which handles all statutory administration and ensures compliance with statutory regulations across the Private Client administration teams.
Shauna has gained experience through her work at the Cavendish Trust Limited and Zurich Financial Services Limited. In both positions, she dealt with the administration of a wide variety of both on- and off- Island companies.
These past experiences have enabled her to develop skills which are crucial for her current role, where high attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and knowledge of the Companies Acts are essential.
