Amanda Potter, Manager

Amanda joined Boston in October 2010 and manages a team which administers a wide variety of multi-jurisdictional structures. In addition, Amanda personally oversees a small portfolio of complex structures for High Net Worth individuals and their families.
Amanda has over twelve years’ experience in the offshore fiduciary sector, having started her career on the Isle of Man with Trident Trust. She complemented this by spending ten years at Abacus Trust Company Limited, before moving to Boston.
Amanda is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and holds a diploma in International Trust Management. She is currently studying for a STEP qualification in Trust Disputes.
In her spare time Amanda is a keen gardener and enjoys painting and crafting. She also takes any opportunity to practice Pilates and walk in the beautiful Manx countryside.

In her role as Manager, Tanya oversees a team dedicated to the administration of a wide portfolio of trusts and companies. She uses her expertise to act as a point of reference for team members.
Tanya began her working life at Jordans Limited in Bristol in 1987 – later relocating to the Isle of Man office of the company to gain knowledge and experience in the provision of offshore corporate services. In 2000 she joined Lorne House Trust Limited, a family office trust and investment management company, being appointed Director during her time there.
Tanya jointed Boston in 2010 and holds the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Diploma in International Trust Management. She has also been nominated to take part in the Manx Executive Challenge 2012.
Tanya is married with a young family and enjoys playing pool for local and Island teams in her spare time.

Bryony Jennings, Business Development

Bryony plays an integral role in driving business development at Boston. She also retains several client relationships and chairs Boston’s Investment Committee; which reviews the selection process of investment managers and their ongoing performance.
Bryony came to Boston in 2010 with over ten years’ experience at an Isle of Man trust company and a private bank in the UK. She has a wealth of knowledge in both on and offshore trust and company administration for high net worth and ultra high net worth families.
Bryony is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), and has been selected to take part in the Manx Executive Challenge 2012. She is also a student member of the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation.
Married with a young daughter, Bryony is an active member of the Isle of Man Junior Chamber of Commerce.

Lauren O’Neill, Business Development
Lauren plays an integral role in driving business development at Boston, with primary responsibility for the family office proposition and UK introducers.
Lauren joined Boston in 2012 from Barclays Wealth, where she was a Relationship Manager for High Net Worth Individuals in Jersey. Previously Lauren worked for Barclays Wealth’s Private Banking division in London. She is dedicated to building close relationships with clients and intermediaries and strives to exceed expectations.
Lauren has a BSc (2:1) In Business Management, Certificate in Financial and Mortgage Advice and is currently a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) working towards full membership. Outside of work Lauren enjoys running, squash and an active social life.

Tara Wheeler, Assistant Manager
As Assistant Manager, Tara supports a dedicated team in their provision of administration services to an ever increasing number of yachting and aviation clients, as well as a number of other High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) individuals and corporations.
Tara joined Boston in 2010 from Trident Trust Company (IOM) Ltd, where she spent five years administering a diverse group of corporate entities and trusts for HNW and UHNW clients. She has over 13 years’ experience in the offshore corporate services industry; with her specialism being in the shipping and aviation sectors.
She holds a Diploma of Higher Education in Political Economy from Staffordshire University and a BSC (Hons) from the Open University. She has recently also completed a Certificate in Maritime Economics with Lloyds Maritime Academy, and is a student member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.

Gary Ormond, Assistant Manager
Gary is responsible for the management of a wide and varied client portfolio; although with his long involvement in the industry he also provides an experienced point of reference for other administrators in the team.
Having spent over twenty years at Yorkshire Bank PLC, Gary moved to the Isle of Man to join Abacus Trust Company in 1999. He worked at IFG Group PLC following this, before becoming a part of the team at Boston.
Gary brings with him to Boston his wide-ranging experience, which includes twelve years spent within Boston’s core areas of operation. He is an Associate of the Institute of Financial Services (formerly the Chartered Institute of Bankers).
Gary is a keen sports fan, although he has started to restrict his activities to more serene pursuits such as walking, gardening and fishing. He and his wife are fast approaching their 30th wedding anniversary, which they will celebrate with their two adult children.

Nicola Offord, Assistant Manager
Nicola administers a wide range of complex structures for private and corporate clients; specialising in building strong relationships with clients and intermediaries. Nicola also provides management support to Amanda Potter and her team.
Nicola has four years’ experience in the offshore fiduciary sector. Nicola worked for Abacus Trust Company Limited upon moving to the Isle of Man in 2007, before moving to Boston. Nicola has also acquired on-shore financial experience through her time working in the UK for Lombard and Barclays.
Nicola is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and holds a diploma in International Trust Management.
She is a keen runner who regularly takes part in both on and off Island events. She is also a talented silversmith. -
Roxanne Usher, Company & Trust Administrator
Roxanne is a Company and Trust administrator who is responsible for the administration of a diverse portfolio of High Net Worth clients. She works closely with her team to benefit from the collective wealth of their experience in the management of offshore trust and company structures.
Roxanne joined Boston Limited in 2009 as a Trainee Administrator, before being promoted to her current level. Before coming to the company, she obtained a BA (Hons) in Theology for Education from Newman University College in Birmingham.
She is currently a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), and is studying for her diploma in International Trust Management.
Roxanne is a member of the Isle of Man Western Ladies Darts League and actively participates in charity fund raising both in and outside of work.

Frank Douthwaite, Company & Trust Administrator
Frank works in the Private Client Department, administering a diverse client portfolio which encompasses companies and trusts from a variety of jurisdictions. In addition, he deals with a number of partnerships which feature property-focused portfolios.
Upon completion of his BA (Hons) at the University of Wolverhampton, Frank started at Boston in November 2009 as a Trainee company and trust administrator. Frank was promoted to his current role as company and trust administrator in April 2011. He is a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and continues to work towards a full membership.
Frank is always keen to get involved and has participated in numerous Boston company teams for events as diverse as the Viking Longboat Races and the Corporate Hockey League. He is also an active member of Vikings Hockey Club and is often seen slogging up the Island’s hills on his mountain bike.

Matthew Hughes, Company & Trust Administrator
Matthew works in the Private Client Department, and looks after a portfolio of trust and company structures. He takes responsibility for ongoing client relationships, supporting all of his clients by ensuring that their administration records are correctly maintained.
Matthew previously worked with local media and started at Boston as a Junior Administrator. Following his promotion, Matthew is studying towards becoming a full member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA).
Matthew regularly plays football and is currently club captain of Police AFC. He also represents the club at monthly Isle of Man FA committee meetings. He also participated in the Boston Mixed Hockey team for a corporate league.

Craig Thomson, Trainee Administrator
Craig is currently in a Trainee position, and deals with the day-to-day administration of various companies and trusts. His experience lies in the field of banking, having previously worked at Barclays Bank PLC, Allied Irish Bank and Abbey National.
Craig is dedicated to building close relationships with his clients and is always happy to go the extra mile.
Craig is a keen rugby player and enjoys assisting the local charity Crossroads Caring for Carers when he can.

Hazel Gurry, Trainee Administrator
In her role as a Trainee administrator, Hazel assists in the maintenance of a range of client portfolios. The portfolios include trust and company structures from a variety of jurisdictions.
Before coming to Boston in 2011, Hazel had already worked in a similar role at a local corporate service provider. She also has knowledge of the private banking sector following a period of employment at Barclays Wealth.
Hazel is a student member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is currently studying towards a certificate and diploma in International Trust Management.
Hazel is a keen traveller and enjoys broadening her cultural horizons. As a voluntary member of St John Ambulance, she has over 12 years’ experience in emergency care.

Ashlee Parker, Assistant Administrator
As part of her dual role as Assistant Administrator, Ashlee assists with both tax administration and the maintenance of client portfolios, including trust and company structures in multiple jurisdictions.
Before joining Boston in November 2011, Ashlee worked for 3 years in the Finance Department of Royal Skandia Life Assurance Ltd where she was an integral member of the Cash Control and Policy Charges teams.
Ashlee is currently studying towards membership of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) having previously been successful in completing the relevant modules of the Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) qualification.
In her spare time, Ashlee enjoys baking, jewellery making and craft activities. In the warmer months, she also enjoys kayaking with family and friends. -
Janet Bradley, Assistant Manager
As an Assistant Manager, Janet provides vital back office support to the administration teams with a focus on project work.
For the last fifteen years, Janet has been involved in life insurance and investments and, later, trust and company administration. In 2005 she was approached by a South African family to project manage the establishment of a new Isle of Man Trust Company for the purposes of taking on a book of insurance based trusts; and was awarded the post of Chief Executive of Operations. Once this was established she wished to gain a wider corporate exposure, which lead her to join Boston Limited in March of 2009. Originally Janet was assigned a portfolio of clients to administer, but has since progressed to Manager level.
She is Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) qualified with predominantly South African based client connections.
Outside of work Janet is a fully qualified and passionate Yoga Instructor. She enjoys teaching regular classes at community halls and at a local Yoga and Pilates Studio.
