Ruth looks after the affairs of the Moore family, who founded the Boston Group, in her capacity as head of the Family Office.
Ruth began her career after completion of a BA (Hons) Geography degree at the University of Liverpool. She joined Boston Group as one of its first employees, after spending four years with a major accountancy firm and qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant. Since 2008 Ruth has been present on several family boards, and has experience within all aspects of the family office; including asset allocation strategy, trust and estate planning, wealth preservation, and investment selection and control.
Ruth is married with two children and spends a lot of her spare time managing their vast array of interests! She also enjoys being outdoors, having an active social life, and spending time with family and friends. Ruth is Secretary of the Boston Charitable Foundation and enjoys getting involved with the projects that the Foundation has supported over the years.

Erica Bellhouse, Manager

Erica works in the Family Office and deals with the day-to-day needs of the very first family client of Boston Group – the founding Moore family.
Erica came to Boston in 2009, having spent the previous nine years working for Ernst & Young on the Isle of Man. At Ernst & Young she audited a variety of local companies and gained specific experience of the Isle of Man Financial Services industry.
Erica qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2005 and is currently studying towards her ATT qualification.
Erica is married with two young children and outside of work has a strong involvement in cycling on the Island. She is the Treasurer of the Isle of Man Cycling Association and also sits on the organising committee for an annual international cycling event.

Lyn Royle, Accountant
In her role as Accountant, Lyn prepares the accounts for the founding family of the Boston Group. She also manages VAT compliance, invoicing, debtor control and payroll compliance.
Lyn is one of the longest serving employees of the company, having joined them in 2004. Prior to this, she spent six years working for a corporate service provider in Douglas. She had previously been employed for eight years by an engineering/accountancy firm on the Island.
Lyn has completed the International Association of Book-Keepers Certificates in Book-keeping Parts 1 and 2 and is an Associate of the International Association of Book-keepers.
Lyn has two grown up children and her interests include music, reading and football.

Carla Hicks, Senior Administrator
Carla joined the Family Office team in January 2012. Her role involves assisting with day-to-day needs of the Moore family. Carla started her career in the banking world before moving onto life assurance. Prior to Boston she gained 4 years of trust and company experience working for a local Corporate Service Provider.
Carla attends spinning classes in her spare time and has been a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) since 2011.

Jill Allen, PA to the Chairman and Group CEO
Jill joined Boston Group in 2010 and provides a personal assistant service to the Chairman and the Group Chief Executive Officer. She is also the administrator for the Boston Charitable Foundation.
Jill has twenty eight years of experience as a secretary and PA. She started her career in the West Midlands working as a legal secretary for firms Pinsents and Eversheds. She subsequently moved to 3i Plc (Venture Capital); where she worked in their in-house legal department and went on to manage the administration of their European Coal & Steel Community Loans to industry.
Outside of work Jill is married and enjoys the outdoor life; looking after chickens, turkeys and bees, and growing her own vegetables. She also enjoys riding motorbikes and her holidays are usually spent heading for the best riding roads she can find!
